A run-for-your life game where the taya is on the hunt! Just like “Tag, You’re It!”— run fast, dodge quickly, and if you’re it, tag them before they escape!
Players must be played at least 3 or more players, they then must decide on who will the taya be. To choose players may play a counting out game such as eeny, meeny, miny, moe or can be by jack en poy. Once the taya is chosen, they can now start running and chase the other players, if the taya has tagged another player they must shout “taya” and is now the taya but they cannot tag the person who was previously the taya.
Choose the taya either through maiba-taya or jack en poy.
Once the taya is chosen, they should run and tag another person and shout “taya!” once they get to tag them.
The next taya cannot tag the previous person, and now must chase for a new one.
