A fast-paced chasing game where the taya must tag players, but once a player reaches an elevated area (“langit”), they’re safe from being tagged—so run fast and find your safe spot!
To determine who the taya will be, players must play jack en poy and the player who loses will be the taya. Players must run to an elevated are or “langit”. The taya then will chant
“Langit, lupa impyerno, im im impyerno,
Sak-sak puso tulo ang dugo
Patay, buhay, Umalis ka Na Sa pwesto Mo!”
Once the taya has finished the chant, players must now look for a place to stay in but while the players are all running to the “langit” the taya must tag a player, for them to be the next taya.
Decide the taya through jack en poy.
Players should run to an elevated place to be safe(chair, bench, step, etc…)
The Taya should tag a player while everyone is looking for new positions for them to be the next taya. Repeat the chant if the Taya was not able to tag anyone!
Once the Taya finishes chanting the song, everyone should run to new positions.
