Jackstone is a popular Filipino game usually played by two or more players. It uses a bouncy ball and ten small, star-shaped metal or plastic jacks. The goal is to pick up the jacks in a specific order while bouncing the ball.
To play Jackstone, spread the ten small jacks on the floor and get ready with the bouncy ball. The game starts by bouncing the ball and picking up one jack before the ball hits the ground. In the next round, the player picks up two jacks, then three, and continues until all the jacks are collected in order. The player must pick up the jacks and catch the ball successfully to move on to the next level. If a player misses the ball or fails to pick up the correct number of jacks, their turn ends, and the next player gets a chance. The first player to complete all levels without any mistakes wins the game!
Spread the jacks on the floor.
Throw the ball upwards letting it bounce on the floor, get one jack, then catch the ball before it bounces on the floor again. Make sure to only use the same hand throughout. The goal is to pick up all the jacks.
The player’s turn ends if they fail to catch the ball, get the correct number of jacks, or if the ball they threw lands on a jack. The first player to complete all levels without any mistakes wins the game!
In the next rounds, the player should pick up two jacks at once, then by threes, and all at once.
